This interview was conducted by Kitanna Hiromasa with an anonymous member of the Class of 2019. It occured in Leyburn Library at Washington and Lee University at approximately 11 am on May 15th, 2018. The interview started with basic questions regarding gender, nationality, race, etc. It then moved to questions regarding the interviewee’s experience at Washington and Lee from the application process to the present time. Further inquiries included social life, Greek life, the honor system, discriminatory experiences, problems facing the student body in terms of race, and more. These questions were based on a series of exit surveys conducted in 1997 by the History Department at Washington and Lee University.
